I've just processed my 1st Tri-Color Hale-Bopp Image taken 2/13/97 From 10:42 Ut to 11:03 UT. Dark field corrected, and log scaled. Images were onto a Pictor 416CCD thru a 10" LX 200 @ F/3.3 Images ranged from(30 sec. Red) (2- 30 sec Green) (90 Sec. Blue). Images were shift & combine as Hale-Bopp has brightened considerably, and is blooming the chip in 10 sec exposures as compared to blooms at 25 sec. a few days ago!! I've included a link, with an excellent verbal and sketch description of the comet at the same time as this image, by David Fideler Comet Hale-Bopp: February 13, 1997
